I Stopped Buying Clothes
I remember as a young artist feeling a constant need to find new ways to express myself. I would often experiment with my appearance, and fashion was one of the ways I did this. I would spend hours browsing through clothing stores, trying on new outfits, and buying clothes I didn’t need.
Over time, I started to feel like something was wrong. I had a closet full of clothes, but I never felt like I had anything to wear. I was constantly chasing the next new trend, and I was never satisfied with what I had.
One day, I decided to stop buying clothes. I wanted to see if I could be happy with what I already had. At first, it was difficult. I would go shopping and find myself drawn to new clothes, but I would resist the temptation to buy them.
Over time, I started to feel better about myself. I was no longer chasing after the latest trends, and I was more confident in my own style.
